A little bit about me...
I have been completely obsessed with animals ever since I was little, and for most of my life I knew I was going to be a marine biologist, there was only one issue...motion sickness. Knowing that I couldn't even step foot on a boat without feeling nauseous that dream was quickly replaced with veterinarian. I started on the path to be a veterinarian and life happened, I met my wonderful husband and then we had our amazing son - proceeded to travel the world with the Air Force and during our time in Okinawa Japan I began working with the vet clinic there. I completely feel in love with being a Veterinary Technician...it was basically all the perks of being a vet, just none of the politics and liability. So, I continued my time as a vet tech for the next 8 years.
I have had the amazing opportunity to work with so many difference animal species, to rescue actual wildlife and rehabilitate then release. I have had the unfortunate job of sitting by the owner and trying to comfort the best I know how when they have to send their sweet fur baby to the rainbow bridge. I have met so many wonderful people in the vet medicine industry and learned so much - so when it came time for me to move on from that I was extremely sad. I decided that I would not give up on my passion for animals and thus began South Paw Pet Sitting.

I have the unique opportunity to do many things I love - offering pet services and being able to care for your pets is something I am most passionate about! I love knowing that I can take a little bit of that worry and anxiety from you and let you know that your pets will be very well cared for while you are not there with them. With my background in vet medicine I am confident that if any emergency would arise I could handle it with ease, and due to my obsession from an early age I have zero fear of anything (well except spiders and snakes).
I believe that God placed me on the earth to care for animals and I want to thank you up front for trusting me to care for yours! Together with my team I know that you will not be disappointed in the care of your pets (oh and my "team" manages the business from the home base....they do not travel with me)
